Media Matters

Facilitators: Mrs Millicent Brown and Rev Phyllis Thompson

This short course is designed to support those engaged/interested in the use of multi-media to communicate the gospel to and beyond their local congregation. Course topics include: Christian media challenges and opportunities, Engaging with the Press, Rules and Liability. Practical activities include the development of a media outreach strategy for the course participant's local context.

Mentoring
Facilitators: Bishop I Lewinson, Bishop Donald Bolt and Rev Phyllis Thompson

This seminar is complemented with distance learning activities. ‘Leaders of Leaders’ provide a unique opportunity for district pastors to (a) reflect on their practice of ministry with specific reference to the relevance and context of the office (b) define the components of good practice for successive generations of district leaders in the UK and (c) consider ways in which their own approaches to district leadership can be enhanced.
