Rev Phyllis Thompson has served the church in many capacities, including District Youth Director, National Youth Talent Co-ordinator and more recently as Associate Pastor at Mile End Church, where she led the Small Group ministry. She has been involved in Christian education for a number of years and regularly speaks and teaches at Christian events. She is a member of the denominational International Division of Education Board and an Executive Committee member of the European Pentecostal Theological Association. Teaching and training for effective Christian living and ministry are central to her sense of calling and ministry. Phyllis Thompson has 30 years experience in education, specifically adult and development education. Phyllis has developed and facilitated training programmes for trainers in community, further and higher education in the UK and Europe. Prior to this role, Phyllis was the Deputy Director at the Development Education Association.
Bishop Norman Gooden Dip.Th, M. Th
Norman Gooden is the Chair of the Education Board. He is the senior Pastor at the West Croydon Church and District Overseer for four churches. He is a member of the National Executive Council. He is also actively engaged in missions in India, Bosnia, Italy and the African continent. After graduation from Bethel Bible College, Jamaica W.I. where he studied Theology and Christian Education he came to England and was appointed as Youth and Christian Education Director for the Letchworth District, where he served for fourteen years.
Rev Ruben King B.Eng. (Hons), M.Sc., C.Eng., M.I.E.T.
Ruben King has served the Church in various capacities, including Church & Pastor's Council member, Assistant Local Youth Director, Sunday School Teacher and Prayer Director. Ruben is an active member of his local music ministry team and is involved in recording and producing upcoming Gospel Artistes. In August 2004, he was appointed to serve as Director of the National Youth & Christian Education Department.
Rev Herbie McKenzie BA, BSc, MA, Dip. Min. Th, Dip. Christian Counselling
Herbie McKenzie is the founder and Principal of Immanuel Theological College. He is now the Pastor of the Cheetham Hill NTCG. He has served the Church in a number of offices including Sunday School Teacher, Secretary and Treasurer. He has a particular interest in pastoral care and Christian ethics. He is deeply committed to developing Christians to serve, as the Lord calls them, and sees the national education programme as providing an important platform for enabling both men and women to develop the necessary skills for godly service and leadership in the local church, thereby fulfilling their ministry potential to the glory of God.
Bishop Barrington Mullings Cert. in Counselling, Dip Th. BA Hon, MA.
Barrington Mullings is the Pastor of the Manchester NTCG and oversees the churches on the Manchester District. He has served the denomination in a variety of capacities since graduating from Bethel Bible College, Jamaica W.I where he studied theology and church administration. After graduation, he was appointed to the pastorate of both the Merrywood and Mulgrave New Testament Church of God in the Parish of St Elizabeth where he served for three years before migrating to the United Kingdom. He has been a member of the West Midland Area Evangelism Team and Assistant Youth Pastor with responsibility for ‘Young Christian Development' at the Handsworth church in the UK.
Rev Hadassah Radway MBA, B.Ed., Cert.Ed.
Hadassah has served the Church in a range of positions in the UK and in the Bahamas. She is currently serving as the Pastor of the church in Bath. Hadassah has over thirty years experience as an educator. She has taught in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of education. She is currently employed by Bristol City Council Children and Young Peoples Services (CPYS) as the Senior Teacher for the Ethnic Minority Induction and Assessment Team (EIAT).
Bishop Brian Robinson M.Div
Brian Robinson is the senior Pastor at Clapton NTCG and District Overseer for four churches. He is a member of the National Executive Council and Coordinator of the Ministerial Internship programme. Brian Robinson studied at Ebenezer Bible Institute and the Church of God Theological Seminary. He has been the pastor of congregations at Hitchin, Southampton and Bristol respectively prior to Clapton. He also served the Church as Principal of the Overstone College from 1987-91.
Rev Nigel Williams ACCA
Nigel Williams is the Pastor of the Hitchin Church – since January 2001. His passion is to see the body of Christ enhance to its full potential through individual and corporate prayer. In his former Church, Lee, he has served in many capacities including 2nd Assistant Pastor, Prayer coordinator, Deacon and Treasurer. He is a qualified accountant with several years of experience in commerce and industry. As well as the pastorate he is also growing his own business, helping small businesses to develop and improve processes. He brings this financials expertise to the board to provide financial review, forecasting and planning.
