Going4Gold is the Youth Department’s theme as we fast approach the London 2012 Olympics Games, as well as our own Golden Anniversary National Youth & CE Convention in 2013. To win a gold medal an athlete has to exercise discipline, drive, determination, focus, commitment, strength, endurance and passion. In the Bible, gold symbolises deity, brilliance, purity, trials, rewards, prosperity, excavation, currency and value. We will continue to explore these matters intertwined with the journey of an Olympic athlete up to 2013 at the following events:
