relevant, relational, reimagining
The New Testament Church of God is a vibrant, multicultural Christian community with congregations across England and Wales. With thousands of registered members and many more who call our churches home, we reflect the rich diversity of the UK. Credentialed ministers, youth leaders, evangelists and volunteers serve across our departments to share the Gospel and strengthen our communities. As Jesus declared in the Gospel according to St. Luke:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favourable year of the Lord.”
The New Testament Church of God runs two national prayer initiatives. These gatherings help propel the Church forward through focused prayer for a range of needs:
DAY OF PRAYER
An opportunity for our younger members to begin the year at the feet of Jesus, engaging in prayer, praise and worship while seeking guidance for the year ahead.
THE ENGINE ROOM
Monthly prayer sessions where intercession is made for specific groups and issues, alongside thanksgiving for all God has done and will continue to do in the lives of His people.
As servant leaders, we are called to respond selflessly to the needs of our communities and nation — serving spiritually, practically, relationally, and missionally. We envision transformed communities, empowered leaders, and a clearer expression of Christ’s message through lives of faithful, active service.

Explore LTCAs servant leaders, we are called to respond selflessly to the needs of our communities and nation, serving not for recognition, but from hearts shaped by Christ’s love. We serve spiritually, practically, relationally, and missionally, allowing God’s grace to flow through every part of life.
Spiritually, we are rooted in foundation and formation, growing through prayer, scripture, and discipleship. Practically, we show community and compassion, meeting real needs and strengthening neighbourhoods. Relationally, we prioritise empowerment and evangelism, equipping people to share faith and lead with confidence. Missionally, we pursue mission and multiplication, extending beyond our walls and making overseas mission a natural rhythm.
We envision transformed communities, empowered leaders and laity, deeper understanding of those we serve, stronger collaboration with our charities, and a clearer expression of Christ’s message through lives of faithful, active service.
